I'm not really into 'luck' or 'superstition' - but I do believe that things happen for a reason.
Now that Carter's country has decided not to stop their special needs adoptions, this story has a lot more meaning.
A few weeks ago...on a day that didn't seem so important...my Grannie gave me a gift.  Small - but sweet.  It was a little frame, with a pressed plant inside.
Not just any plant, though.
It was a four leaf clover.
I loved that she gave it to me.  She could have kept it for herself - after all, it's the only four leaf clover she's ever found.  Ever.  She said she just looked down - and there it was!!  Amazing!
Your odds of finding a four leaf clover are 10,000 to 1.  Trust me, I looked it up :)
So I set it on my windowsill above my kitchen sink to enjoy when I'm doing my least favorite job (dishes...!).  But there was something else in the frame, too.  There was a date.
Not just any date, though.
June 15th, 2011.
May not mean anything to you - but that was the day we found out Carter's country was going to halt adoptions.  (don't believe me?  click on 'Adoption Timeline' to the right!)  At the time - the four leaf clover didn't seem so 'lucky'!  But - hindsight is 20/20, right?
One Thing I Know For Sure:  Luck?  No.  But...total coincidence?  I don't think so...

I have the CHILLS!!!!! Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!
