30 Days of Photos

Okay...I take no credit for this idea.  I am completely copying somebody else.  The idea is to do a photo each day for 30 days...following this criteria....

Day 01 - A picture of you and 10 things about you
Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been close with for the longest.
Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show.
Day 04 - A picture of your night.
Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory.
Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item.
Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh.
Day 09 - A picture of what you wish you were doing right now.
Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most messed up things with.
Day 11 - A picture of something you hate.
Day 12 - A picture of something you love.
Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band or artist.
Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die.
Day 16 - A picture of someone who inspires you.
Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.
Day 18 - A picture of your biggest insecurity.
Day 19 - A picture of you when you were little.
Day 20 - A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.
Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget.
Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at.
Day 23 - A picture of your favorite book.
Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.
Day 25 - A picture of your day.
Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.
Day 27 - A picture of yourself and a family member.
Day 28 - A picture of something you're afraid of.
Day 29 - A picture that can always make you smile.
Day 30 - A picture of someone you miss.

Sound fun?  I think so!  So...Day 1:
A Photo of me, and 10 things about me....

Yes, I know - so professional!  Taken just for this blog and my 7 happy followers.  Okay - it's actually my work photo :)

Ten Things About Me...
1. I hate clutter.  My mom's jaw has probably just dropped to the keyboard (I was a slob)...but it's true - I have become a neat freak.  Messes make me crazy.  Just ask Jake.
2. I sucked my thumb until I was at least 7.
3. #2 resulted in an extreme need for braces :)
4. If I could (meaning...if I could allow myself to...) I would have fake fingernails.  I am obsessive about my nails.
5. As a kid, I dreamed of being a doctor or a waitress.  I even dressed up as a waitress once for career day :)  Although I've never actually been a waitress...I guess my 'younger self' would be devastated.
6. I have more friends over 40 than I do under 40.
7. If I let my hair color grow out, it would be so ash-y that it would look gray (NO - I did not say that I am gray!).  I pray I'm not a blue haired lady by the time I'm 40.
8. I always used to think being a preschool teacher would be a waste of time. What is a preschooler really capable of learning, anyways?  I'm glad to say...I was so wrong!
9.  I used to want 6 kids...hah.  And the first 2 girls would be named "Imogen" and "Sloane".  THAT is why we don't have kids when we're 13.  (Sloane [pronounced 'Slone'] is someones girlfriend in an 80's movie.  Can anyone name the movie?!)
10. I hate the beach.  Hate sand.  Hate saltwater (and the things that might be swimming in the said saltwater...).  Hate it.

Okay...I'd say that's good!  Check back tomorrow for more :)

One Thing I Know For Sure: It's hard coming up with 10 things about myself...that aren't completely humiliating :)

  1. The picture wasn't working on my mom's computer, so I pulled your blog up on the computer I am on, and Rebekah says "That reminds me of Ashley!" ;)

  2. This will be fun to follow along with! Thanks for doing it. It will be fun to get to know you better. :-) I'd do it too, but as you know, my blogging is almost non-existent lately, so it would be too much.

I'm still thinking about #9 and the movie. Aren't you too young though for 80's movies?

  3. HA! Sarah - I'm glad a photo of myself reminds Rebekah of me. That's good to know :) Jill - 80's movies are the best! My parents had good taste! (or bad taste - I guess it depends how you look at it!).
